Backing talent, building people — one run at a time.
Kiloeaters is a nonprofit organisation with a clear purpose: to raise funding and put it directly toward identifying and supporting athletes from previously disadvantaged communities, giving them the opportunity to run and compete. We also take on an active mentoring role in our athletes' lives, walking alongside them well beyond the finish line.
Talent isn't the barrier for many young athletes in previously disadvantaged communities — access is. Kiloeaters exists to close that gap, connecting funding, opportunity, and guidance to athletes who have the drive but not always the means.
We raise funds through our community, then apply that support directly to athletes — covering what they need to train, compete, and grow. Alongside financial support, our team stays involved as mentors, supporting each athlete's development as a person, not just a runner.
Every athlete deserves a fair shot to compete, regardless of where they start out.
We invest in people first — supporting growth on the track and in life.
Through community and social runs, we bring people together in support of a shared cause.
Kiloeaters has helped athletes including Thato Kabili and Nomvula Sithole on their journey to run and compete, alongside ongoing mentorship.
